TO BE CONTINUED....

Letters of Note: Correspondence Deserving of a Wider Audience - Shaun Usher

(purchased from amazon)

Little Children - Tom Perrotta

Recommended by Tati Feltrin, as one of her favorite book, but farrrr to be my favorite! It was ok, nothing special and wouldn't necessarily recommend to anyone, really. Not sure if I will watch the movie...
(bought from amazon £0.01 + postage £2.80)

The Journals of Sylvia Plath 1950-1963

Yes, I finally finished Sylvia's journals.

(I read half the book in July 2016, and now the second half).

My aim was to finish the book before my birthday 27th July but as soon as I restarted it I just couldn't stop, and it was all done within a few days. I would definitely say this 'second' part of my reading was better than the first time. As the years go by Sylvia's problems changes, from finding a boyfriend to the struggle of a married woman (wife of Ted Hughes)

The book, being her journal, is very honest and intense, thing you wouldn't say, but write, and only to yourself. So when I started reading the book some parts were making me quite blue, Sylvia was down, I was down. But somehow the second time I took the book I was ok, Sylvia seemed a bit better too (or maybe I just got used to her).

I have to confess I am sort of addicted to Sylvia, her writing and her story. After finishing the book I thought I would feel relief and move on from her (after almost a year to finish this book), but it was quite the opposite, and I just ended up purchasing something I saw in the last pages of the journals, her short stories book Johnny Panic and the Bible of Dreams. So here we go again...
